Our thoughts: The Chase Sapphire Reserve is a premium version of it’s sister, the Preferred. The annual fee is high, but the benefits might outweigh it if you’re able to take advantage of the $300 travel credit (automatically rebated from any travel purchase), live near a Chase Sapphire lounge, or could use the $100 TSA PreCheck or Global Entry credit. 

How to earn points:

10x- hotels and car rentals when you book through the Chase Travel Portal.

10x- Chase Dining purchases (through the portal- prepaid restaurant reservations, takeout, or virtual cooking events).

5x- air travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal.

3x- restaurants, streaming services, and online groceries (excluding Target, Walmart, and wholesale clubs).
